Hey hi! I’m a Helsinki-based harpist and singer from Canada. I have been working as a freelance music artist for over 10 years doing live performances, session vocal recording and teaching music. I perform music in various genres, but my specialty is electric harp and voice covers of known metal music classics and video game music. Some of my favorite music includes Nightwish, Final Fantasy, Skyrim, the Witcher, Iron Maiden, Within temptation, etc. I also love playing folkloric music from all over the world.
I am available to perform for corporate events, parties, weddings, funerals and other events and gatherings. My repertoire includes both singing and instrumental ambient music to accommodate all sorts of events, from a more “concert”-style of performance to soft ambient music.
I have an extended repertoire of music and I love to adapt the repertoire to fit your audience and event’s needs.

Technical requirements
In order to perform for your event, I will need a PA system and a mixer so I can plug-in my electric harp. A microphone is not absolutely mandatory, but if I need to sing, it is highly recommended. If the venue does not have the equipment already, please let me know so I can make arrangements with the audio technician so we can bring the equipment needed ourselves.

F.A.Q
I work as a solo artist and my music is always in an acoustic style, but I still require amplification for my electric harp in order to perform. My harp is build without a soundboard and acoustic case, which means it does not create sound of its own unless it’s amplified. It works the exact same way as an electric guitar.
Yes, it’s possible that I take care of the PA. In fact, I usually work in duo with an audio engineer to take care of the sound during the performance and help carry the gear over to the venue and put it together. For smaller venues or events, there is a possibility for me to get my hands on a smaller system to mimic an acoustic performance and take care of it myself.
The type of music I love to play most for events are covers of rock and metal bands. My repertoire has a huge list of covers from Nightwish, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Evanescence, Heart, and a lot more. I also do play a lot of pop music such as ABBA, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Edith Piaf, etc.
When it comes to solo harp music and ambiance, I have a long list of instrumental celtic music I can play and some other timeless classics. Classical music is very limited on the lever harp, and for that reason my classical repertoire is fairly limited. If there is any specific song you would like to hear, it’s always possible for me to see if it can be arranged.
My current repertoire is designed for me to play in solo, but is possible for me to work with other musicians with extra rehearsal time. Let me know about your ideas, and I’ll see if it’s possible for me to make it happen.
I have been singing a lot of songs in Finnish. Although I might not be the obvious pick for a set made mostly of Finnish music, I certainly can try my best to include some of your favorite songs in my set. My Finnish is not perfect, but I really love the language!
My fees vary a lot depending on the type of event I’m playing in, and whether or not I need to bring my own amplification system. I usually work with an audio tech to ensure efficiently great sound is good during the performance. Send me an email with as many details as possible about your event and I’ll be happy to send you a quote!
I have been performing outside in the past, and so it is possible to make arrangements for that. Although, since my instrument is sensitive to elements, it’s impossible to tell for sure whether or not it will be possible. If your event is happening outside, please send me a message so we can plan things ahead!
